When you live in Burlington, there is no need to travel for an unforgettable summer vacation: everything you could want is right at your fingertips.

Grab a pair of roller-skates and hit the popular Burlington boardwalk.  After that, you can stroll through the picturesque downtown checking out the many unique, local shops lining the streets.  Burlington in July is the perfect time to take a break from the rush of your day-to-day and enjoy all that this city has to offer.

What better way to recharge and reconnect then yoga on the beach? Burlington Beach Rentals offers extended classes that are perfect for yogis of all ages and levels.  The backdrop for the popular Full and New Moon Beach Yoga lessons is the setting sun, and the soundtrack is the sound of the gentle lapping of waves.  Each class is an experience in itself, with different instruments and instructors each time.

After each class participants have the chance to stay and socialize while drinking in the breathtaking views.  For more information or to buy tickets for the Full Moon Beach Yoga session taking place on Tuesday, July 2nd at 8:00pm, you can check out the website here.

Saturday, July 6th marks the 5th Annual Burlington Downtown Car Show.  Taking place on Brant Street, you can take a trip down memory lane as you view vehicles of all types and ages.  Cars will be displayed beginning at City Hall and be sure to check out the Super Cars on Elgin Street.  This year, the main stage and the musical offerings will be at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre.

This event is free and fun for the entire family.  It takes place from 10:00am-4:00pm.  For more information, visit the Burlington Car Show website here.
